Adamawa CP expresses sadness over death of COAS

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc has expressed deep sadness over the death of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja.

Lagbaja reportedly died on November 5, after battling with an undisclosed ailment.

A statement by the image maker of Adamawa State Police command, SP Sulaiman Nguroje said the CP extends his heartfelt condolences to the Brigade Commander, officers and men of 23 Brigade Yola as well as the military establishment in Nigeria over the demise of the Army general.

“The CP on behalf of officers and Men of Adamawa State Police command prays for the repose of the soul of the departed and pray for Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and comfort the Brigade Commander and his men in this time of grief and always,” the statement said.
