Diddi Hussainatu, mother of Prof Umar Pate dies @ 70
Diddi Hussainatu, mother of ace journalist and professor of journalism, and current vice chancellor of federal University Kashere, Prof.Umar Pate is dead.
The aged woman died at Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital Wednesday, at the age of 70 after a protracted illness.
Pate who confirmed the sad news to newsmen said the body of the deceased will be laid to rest on Wednesday evening in line with Islamic rites.

Diddi Husainatu was a treasured mother and a pillar of strength for her family. Her caring nature and strong faith inspired many. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
“Funeral prayers for Diddi Husainatu will be held today after Maghrib prayers at the Central Mosque in Lamido’s Palace, Yola Town, Adamawa State. All family members and friends are invited to join in honoring her memory and paying their respects.
“Professor Umar Pate, on behalf of the family, informed Tgnews of the passing of their beloved mother and requested prayers during this difficult time.
“We have lost a great woman, but we find comfort in knowing she is in Allah’s mercy. We ask for prayers for her forgiveness and that Allah grants her Aljanna Firdauci. Ameen ya Rabbi.”
