Beneficiaries laud Fintiri’s empowerment drive

Market women and youths in Adamawa state have commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his administration’s people-oriented policies, particularly the N50,000 Fintiri Business Wallet Empowerment Scheme. This praise came during the distribution of PAWECA forms at Sengere Bode, Bekaji, and Malamre markets, led by Dr. Michael Zira, Director General of PAWECA.
According to Dr. Zira, Governor Fintiri recognizes the importance of market women, youths, and petty traders as stakeholders in his administration. The “N50,000 Fintiri Business Wallet grant” aims to economically empower these groups, allowing them to contribute to the governance process.

This initiative aligns with Governor Fintiri’s open-door policy, focused on delivering hope and democracy dividends to the people. Notably, the governor’s administration plans to empower 60,000 women, youths, petty traders, and less privileged individuals with N50,000 each, tackling poverty and promoting economic growth in the state.
The Fintiri Business Wallet Empowerment Scheme is part of Governor Fintiri’s broader efforts to support entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses. Earlier, he launched a similar initiative, providing N50,000 grants to 10,000 small-scale entrepreneurs. These initiatives demonstrate the governor’s commitment to empowering Adamawa’s citizens and driving economic development.
