Two in police net over alleged brutal killing of police inspector in Adamawa
Two persons are currently cooling their heels at the Adamawa State Police command over alleged brutal killing of a police inspector in Adamawa State.
A statement by the image maker of the state police command, SP Sulaiman Nguroje noted that the two arrested men were part of a five man gang that allegedly killed the police officer in cold blood.
“The Adamawa State Police Command has on the 19/11/2024, apprehended two out of five suspects for killing Ibrahim Maizabuwa, an Inspector of Police attached to Gombe State Police command.

“The suspects are; Ezekiel Kefas (67) and Stephen Zabadi, (44) all residents of Wamsa Suwa village have on 11/11/2024 conspired, isolated, killed and buried the victim who visited them in their village to demand for the return of his three cows which he gave the first suspect to use and boost his farming activities.
“Until on the 19/11/2024 when the command received complaint from Danlami Ibrahim Maizabuwa, the victim’s Son. The Suspects took detectives of Anti Homicide unit of the Police Command to a shallow grave of the deceased where the corpse was exhumed for autopsy.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+) has in strong terms condemned such acts and deployed security to arrest and bring those on the run to book. The Command remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring diligent prosecution,” Nguroje said.
