Sen Girei congratulates Garba, Salihu, Shuaibu over fresh appointments by president Tinubu
Senator Abubakar Halilu Girei has expressed deep felicitation to the trio of Senator Binta Masi Garba, the APC national vice chairman, Comrade Mustapha Salihu and the Adamawa State APC chairman Barr Idris Shuaibu over their appointments into the boards of various institutions in Nigeria.
Girei also thanked president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for always carrying Adamawa sons and daughters along in his appointments just as he commended the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for facilitating such appointments.

President Tinubu has appointed Senator Binta Garba as the Pro-Chancellor, of the newly established Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences in Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State. In the same vein he also appointed Comrade Mustapha Salihu as Board Chairman of NAPTIP while he appointed Shuaibu as the Board Chairman of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan.
Senator Girei who expressed confidence in the ability of the trio to deliver their various responsibilities with panache, precision and excellence, noted that the appointees are astute professionals and technocrats with vast reservoir of knowledge, experience and exposure to contribute meaningfully to national development.
“The appointment of the trio represents a bold step by our amiable president to ensure transformative and progressive leadership in these institutions.
“I have no doubt in my mind that these rare sons and daughters of Adamawa State will again do us proud as they have done in their previous callings. I also wish to extend profound appreciation to my brother, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser (NSA) for his unwavering support for Adamawa sons and daughters.
“Posterity will remember our president and NSA for working tirelessly within the constraints of available resources to better the lot of Nigerians. I also wish to pray for the new appointees for God’s guidance and successful tenure,” he said.
