New Year: Adamawa APC Chieftain, Hammandikko Distributes Food Items to Constituents
As part of activities to mark the New Year and support vulnerable members of the society, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Adamawa State, Hon. Dahiru Hammandikko, has distributed food items to residents of Yola and surrounding communities.
Hon. Hammandikko, who is the traditional title holder of Dan Kade Adamawa, and Executive Director of Agricultural Services at the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority (UBRBDA), Yola made the distribution on Wednesday morning at his residence, No. 16 Lamido Abba Road, Yola Town, Adamawa State.

Items distributed during the outreach include bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti, Indomie noodles, and seasoning cubes (Maggi).
The beneficiaries were mainly members of his immediate community, the less privileged, and other vulnerable groups who turned out in large numbers to receive the New Year support.
The initiative was organized by the Tinubu Support Group in collaboration with the Northern Region Support Group, as part of efforts to promote community solidarity and ease the economic hardship faced by many families, especially during the festive period.
Speaking briefly during the distribution, Hon. Hammandikko said the gesture was driven by his commitment to give back to society and ensure that vulnerable persons are not left behind.
He noted that the New Year provides an opportunity for leaders and well-meaning individuals to show compassion and support to those in need.
He also emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility in building a stronger and more united community, urging beneficiaries to continue to support initiatives that promote development and social welfare.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful, especially considering the critical time it was distributed.
They commended Hon. Hammandikko for his consistency in supporting the people and prayed for continued success in his public service career.
