Giving an update on the exercise, the APC State Organizing Secretary, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, said the process had kicked off on a sound footing and was expected to proceed without hitches due to the timely intervention and support of the NSA.
Speaking at the APC state secretariat, Ribadu disclosed that comprehensive registration materials had been successfully distributed to all the 226 wards across the state.
According to him, the provision of the tools has significantly boosted the party’s preparedness and capacity to carry out a seamless and credible registration process at the grassroots level.
He explained that the materials, donated by Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the leader of the party in the state, include laptops, tablets, power banks, printers, laminating machines and laminating films.
These tools, he noted, are essential for the effective capture, processing and issuance of electronic membership records to party members.
Ribadu further stated that all the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State received their allocations through their respective party chairmen and supervisors, who are expected to oversee proper utilization of the equipment in their jurisdictions.
He lauded the NSA for his commitment to the party especially at the grassroots level describing the gesture as a demonstration of responsive leadership and dedication to party development.
Ribadu also urged party officials at all levels to ensure transparency, diligence and cooperation throughout the exercise to guarantee its success.
