
News Hunter Commends Military For Neutralizing Terrorists In Northeast
Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have been commended for successfully repelled a coordinated and simultaneous five-pronged terrorist attack on troops positions at Mallam Fatori in Sector 3 in Borno State.
An online publication News Hunter made the commendation in a statement signed by its Editor-in-Chief Hassan Umar Shallpella hailed the troops for executing the operation professionally with minimal casualties on the side of the troops.
According to statement by the management of the online publication News Hunter the killing of 80 terrorists including High profile Commanders in a single encounter have demonstrated the willingness of the troops to smoke out all terrorists in their enclaves in the Northeast and other parts of the country.
It also noted that the number of terrorists killed in a single operation and recovery of a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition and combat enablers have weakened the strength of terrorists operating in the Lake Chad Basin.
It further said the troops can only sustain such feats and restore normalcy in the region with the help of locals, as most of the territorists lives among them.
The statement reads in parts: “ciitizens should divulge informations to troops, the hideouts of terrorists and those harbouring them to enable the descend on them heavenly, bearing in minds that the troops can only succeeed with the support and cooperation of the locals who knows their terrains much better than troops send to restore peace in the areas”.
The News Hunter while commiserating with the bereaved families of the civilians, gallant soldiers, security personnel and volunteers who lost their lives in line of duty in different attacks across the Northeast, wish the injured quick recovery.
