
Gov Fintiri dissolves board of Jimeta market
The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON, has approved the dissolution of the Management Board of the Jimeta Modern Market, a statement by Humwashi Wonosikou Governor Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary disclosed.
With this dissolution, the Chairman of the Board and other members have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect and directed to hand over all government properties in their care to the Commissioner of Commerce and Industry who is to oversee the operation of the Market.

According to the Governor, “The Ministry of Commerce and Industry must now ensure a seamless transition and work diligently to maintain the market’s functionality.”
Governor Fintiri further urged the relevant authorities to prioritize the welfare of market stakeholders and work towards creating a conducive business environment that fosters economic growth and development in Adamawa State.
“The market’s success is crucial to the state’s economic well-being, and we expect the ministry to take all necessary steps to ensure its optimal operation,” the statement said.
