Sen. Girei felicitates with Prof. Yilwatda over emergence as APC nat’l chairman
Prominent Adamawa All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former Senator representing Adamawa Central senatorial zone, Senator Abubakar Halilu Girei, has congratulated Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of APC.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen today, Senator Girei applauded the peaceful and transparent transition process that led to Professor Yilwatda’s election during the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting. He described the smooth transition as a testament to the internal democracy and maturity that now defines the ruling party under President Tinubu’s watch.
