Ribadu felicitates with Mbula nation on coronation of paramount ruler

The pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mal. Nuhu Ribadu, has extended warm felicitations to the Murum Mbula nation over the coronation and presentation of staff of office to its Paramount ruler, Murum Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo by governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Governor Fintiri has on December 23, 2021 presented the staff of office to the first class traditional ruler amidst pomp, pageantry and colourful display of culture.

Ribadu noted that the event which marks another epoch in the history of Mbula nation showcases to the world the accommodation and peaceful disposition of the Mbula people.

He noted that the fact that the process of selecting the new monarch after the death of his predecessor leading to the coronation by governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is a pointer to the maturity, spiritedness and cosmopolitan nature of the Mbula nation.

Ribadu called on the Mbula people to accord the new ruler the cooperation he needed in order to stimulate a healthy cohabitation with others for the overall development of the area and for the prevailing peace in the land to be consolidated.

While wishing the new monarch a successful tenure, Ribadu called on him to redouble efforts at enhancing peace and unity amongst the people praying God to give him the wisdom to steer the land to greater heights.
