๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ซ ๐€๐ก๐ฆ๐š๐๐ฎ ๐”๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ฎ ๐…๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ซ๐ข on Friday 7th January 2022 launched the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Insignia with the sum of ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ณ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐— ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป (๐—ก๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฑ,๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ,๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ.๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ) ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ.

The ๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ซ donated on behalf of the State Government in the Council Chamber, Government House Yola, and restates the Governmentโ€™s commitment to give priority to peace and unity in the State.

๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ซ ๐€๐ก๐ฆ๐š๐๐ฎ ๐”๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ฎ ๐…๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ซ๐ข commended the security agencies for their tenacity in ensuring the peace and safety of the people in the State and promised to continue to engender peace and security of his people as consecrated in his 11 Point Agenda.

๐…๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ซ๐ข assured them of his administrationโ€™s determination to continue in the direction and approach until all Adamawa people are safe to do their businesses without any security difficulties or obstacles.

The ๐‘ฏ๐’†๐’‚๐’… ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘บ๐’†๐’“๐’—๐’Š๐’„๐’† ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘ฌ๐’…๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’“ ๐‘จ๐’Ž๐’๐’” said that the insignia appeal brings out the attention of people to the sacrifice made by fallen heroes in ensuring the safety of the country.

He urged all the people that security and peace is the business of everyone, and pointed out that, this is the right time to honour the fallen heroes either with words or actions through financial donations to support their families so that it will reduce their hardship and suffering, and also serve as an encouragement to the serving officers.

The State Chairman of Legion ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’“ ๐‘พ๐’‚๐’“๐’“๐’‚๐’๐’• ๐‘ถ๐’‡๐’‡๐’Š๐’„๐’†๐’“๐’” (๐‘ด๐‘พ๐‘ถ) ๐‘จ๐’๐’Š ๐‘ด๐’–๐’‰๐’‚๐’Ž๐’Ž๐’‚๐’… (๐‘น๐’•๐’….) stated that the fallen heroes have contributed immensely to the stabilization of peace in Nigeria and beyond, consequently, he said there is a need for individuals, private sectors, and organizations to support their families.

The Chairman thanked the State Government and individuals that made the free-will donations to support them, therefore he appealed for more financial support from Government, individuals, organizations, etc to enable them to meet the predicament and difficulties of widows, orphans, and injured survivors among them.

Those who made free-will donations include State Chief Judge on behalf of the judiciary donated the sum of Two Hundred Thousand (N200,000.00)Naira, The Secretary to the State Government (SSG) a personal donation of Two Hundred Thousand (N200,000.00) Naira, and Head of Service made a donation on behalf of Permanent Secretaries the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand (N250,000.00) Naira.

The Commissioners Forum donated the sum of Five Hundred Thousand (N500,000.00) Naira, Service Commanders donated Five the sum Hundred and Fifty Thousand (N550,000.00) Naira, Head of Local Government Service donated the sum of Five Hundred Thousand (N500,000.00) Naira, Chairmen of Boards and Parastatals donated the sum of Three Hundred Thousand (N300,000.00) Naira among others.
