~ Says Namdas is the only credible candidate that can unseat Fintiri in 2023
The aspiration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) frontline gubernatorial hopeful, Hon Abdulrazak Namdas on Saturday got a push form Adamawa central senatorial zone as a group of enthusiastic supporters contributed a princely N25m to help him purchase the nomination form of his party.
On Friday, three member of APC caucus from Ganye Chiefdom in state house assembly in conjunction with Namdas support group and elders from the Chiefdom also contributed N25m to the gubernatorial hopeful.
A high powered stakeholders of APC from the zone said, they deemed it fit to contribute to the aspiration of Namdas because of the confidence and trust they have for the leadership traits of the gubernatorial aspirant adding that such trust made them to abandon aspirants from the zone in the best interest of the state.
Spokesman of the group, Alhaji Usman Ibrahim said the donation is a resolution to support Namdas by well-wishers, like minds, political associates, amalgamated Unions, traders, organized peasants farmers, and artisans to give their token for Namdas, who is on a rescue mission.
“We wish to state that as committed stakeholders in the rescue project and devoted progressives who are driven by the common interest of providing credible leadership and good governance through democratic means and having carefully looked at the trend of events in our great party the APC herein, our zone and Adamawa state at large, through our active participation in Hon Namdas top to bottom consultations, mobilized and campaign tour of 21 local government areas of the dear state and appreciating his acceptability across the state we came to the conclusion that Namdas is the only aspirant if given the chance to fly the flag of our party in the 2023 election, by God’s willing will unseat the current PDP led government in the state and bring back what rightly belongs to our great party the APC,” Wakili said.
He called on the delegates to ensure electing Namdas in the interest of the state because of his track record, pedigree, youthful energy and most importantly, his political will to bring positive change to the state in the nearest future.
