The chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Adamawa State council, Ishaku Donald Dedan has been reelected as chairman of the union for the second term.
Dedan scored 110 votes to defeat his lone contender, Kate Aliyuda who scored 72 votes.
Also Fidelis Jocthtan emerged as the secretary of the NUJ with 120 votes. Jocthtan defeated, Jonathan Filibus who scored 59 votes.
Leke Joy Diamond also emerged treasurer of the council with 116 votes and defeated Felicia Amos Dauda who scored 66 votes.
Ibrahim Abdullahi who stands unopposed was reelected as the vice chairman of the union.
Isa Tukur also emerged as the Assistant secretary of the council. He also stands unopposed in the election.
Shekaru Yerima who also stands unopposed emerged auditor of the council.
