Parents and guardians have been urged to ensure their wards have an appreciation of at least one or two foreign languages at their fingertips.
Mr Philemon Dalhatu, the Deputy chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) made the plea during the third edition of speech, prize and graduation ceremony of Transformation International Academy, Bekaji.
Dalhatu who doubles as the chairman of the event which took place at the Federal Collage of Education (FCE) Chapel Jimeta, congratulated the graduands for a successful academic feat.
He commended the proprietress and staff of the school for the excellent knowledge they have imparted on the children, both academic and religion adding that he is proud of all the pupils’ performance as they can compete with their counterparts wherever they find themselves.
Dalhatu then appealed to parents to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring prompt payment of school fees of their wards to enable the school maintain it’s standard.
Earlier in her welcome address, the proprietress of the Transformation International Academy Bekaji, Mrs Paulina Bassey said “today mark the third edition of speech, prize and graduation of the school saying she is happy to see that the objective of the school is being achieved.
Mrs Bassey while congratulating the graduating pupils expressed hope that the students have passed through the school with excellent performance rather not the school passing through them.
She called on the graduating students particularly those that would not continue with them to be good ambassadors of the school wherever they they find themselves.
The proprietress attributed the success and good performance of the pupils to the staff of the Academy for their unflinching support, commitment and dedication, urging them to sustain the spirit.
Some of the parents interviewed expressed joy with the great transformation in their wards just as the name of the school implies. They commended the management and Staff of the school for making their pupils better version of themselves.
Highlight of the speech, prize and graduation ceremony was a paper presentation by Mr Timothy, a senior lecturer with federal collage of education on enhancing school, parents relationship, quiz, cultural dances and presentation of gifts to the deserving pupils.
