OON award: Adamawa based politician, Barr Danasabe congratulates Sarki Abba

Adamawa based politician, Barr. Danladi Danasabe has showered encomiums on Buhari’s aide on household and domestic affairs, Sarki Abba for bagging yet another meritorious national honours award of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

It could be recalled that president Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday October 11, 2022 conferred 447 Nigerians with different categories of national awards.

While congratulating the awardee, Danladi said this is another call for greater service to our motherland for which Abba has dedicated all his life to.

Danladi who described Sarki Abba as a pillar of the masses and an embodiment of honesty and integrity noted that the latest award is just a tip of the iceberg as more of such accolades are in the offing considering Abba’s unfading zeal, commitment and dedication for excellence.

He said it did not come to him as a surprise that Abba is bagging this award of excellence few weeks after Niger Republic conferred on him with the highest civilian award.

The politician noted that the people of Adamawa State are particularly proud to have such an enigma that has projected the state well on the national and global arena.

Barrister Danasabe noted that it gives him a great sense of personal joy to be associated with someone in Sarki’s feat and accomplishments adding that the monumental personal accomplishments and milestones he achieved portrayed Jimeta and Adamawa State in good light.

“I must say with all sense of modesty that Abba Sarki has in no small measure done the people of Jimeta and Adamawa state proud since his sojourn into the presidency following his momentous and unrivalled accomplishments.

“Through an unparalleled commitment to duty, unrivalled patriotism, and unprecedented loyalty to his principal, he has won hearts and set new records and broke old ones in a rare feat of administrative excellence.

“I’m therefore not surprised that our own Abba Sarki has joined the league of very powerful Nigerians including the richest blackman on earth, Aliko Dangote in bagging this meritorious award.

“It is said that a prophet is usually not celebrated in his homestead but the saying did not come true with our own Abba as he is highly celebrated, respected and revered in his home state on account of what he has done and still doing for the people.

“I wish to also congratulate the presidency, the good people of Adamawa for being lucky to have a good ambassador and family and friends of this rare gem. With Abba in tow I believe the latest award is just an icing on the cake,” Danladi said.
