The house of representatives candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) vying to represent Madagali/Michika federal constituency in the green chambers, Comrade Shehu Yohanna, has disclaimed online reports saying that he has withdrawn from the race in support of the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a press statement made available to this medium Sunday, the politician said the purported report remains the imagination of the unscrupulous elements behind the fake and misleading report.

My attention has been drawn to spurious news items going round in social media and some quarters insinuating that I had withdrawn my candidature as ADC House of Representatives Candidate flagbearer for Madagali/Michika federal constituency in support of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP).
Such baseless and rabid screeds against me are being peddled by mischief makers and enemies of progress that are hell bent on causing disaffection and anarchy in our body polity for the attainment of capricious ends.
I want to state without mincing words that such phantom concoctions are lies from the pit of hell. They also represents the fictional imagination of purveyors of fake news and misinformation.
To put the record straight, our great party ADC only pledged to support and work for PDP Presidential Candidate, Former vice president Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming February 25th Presidential election.
I wish to use this medium to reiterate that as a party the ADC has affirmed its total and overwhelming support to the aspiration of former vice president Atiku Abubakar to rule this country. The entire ADC Votes in Adamawa State will go for Atiku Abubakar (Wazirin Adamawa) as well as the Gubernatorial Candidate of our great political party Hon Muhammed Usman Shuwa come 11th March 2023.
The general public should disregard any false information from anti-democratic elements who thrive from corporate lies and begging.
The good people of Madagali/Michika Federal Constituency should come en mass and vote for me as the ADC Candidate for House of Representatives Madagali/Michika Federal Constituency for a purporseful, prudent, equitable and quality representation.
