Despite the officer’s sincere apology, it was ignored by the individuals involved. Subsequently, the Okada rider enlisted the aid of a group of hoodlums, and one of them viciously struck the naval officer on the head with an iron rod, causing him to collapse.

An eyewitness to the incident said the deceased naval officer had promptly parked his vehicle to apologize to Ayo and the Okada rider.
Regrettably, his apology fell on deaf ears. Seizing the opportunity, the Okada rider called upon a gang of hoodlums to join him at the scene.
Shockingly, one of the assailants brutally assaulted the officer with an iron rod, inflicting a fatal blow.
Although the naval officer was immediately rushed to the local hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Okada rider was apprehended and handed over to the police, while the other culprits managed to escape.
Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the police spokesperson, has confirmed the incident, stating that the naval officer lost his life due to a minor motorcycle accident that escalated into a violent confrontation.
According to the police, the hoodlums employed an iron rod and a plank to deliver fatal blows to the officer.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are actively seeking the remaining perpetrators involved.
The apprehended Okada rider will face legal consequences for his role in the tragic outcome. Authorities are determined to bring justice to the deceased officer and his grieving family.
