Hon Awwal Greets Gov Fintiri, Lamido over Eid-el-Kabir celebrations
Honorable Awwal D Tukur, Adamawa State Secretary to the Government (SSG) has congratulated the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Lamido of Adamawa, Dr Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha and the entire Muslim ummah for seeing Arafat Month of Ibadat in peace.

Awwal has also extended his heartfelt felicitations to Nigerian Muslims of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

He noted that the Eid-el-Kabir festival is a celebration of the virtues of sacrifice, love, and submission to the will of God. He enjoined Muslims to use the occasion of the Salah festivities to promote peace and unity in their communities and spheres of influence.

Awwal made a passionate appeal to Muslim Ummah in Adamawa to continue praying for the peace and prosperity of the state, especially for the second term government of Governor Fintiri to succeed.

According to him Fintiri in his last four year term has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he has come to work, to liberate the state from the clutches of underdevelopment.
He said their renewed prayers are being craven for the present government to work much more in the overall interest of the state.
While thanking the people for giving the governor the desired corporation, he revealed his second tenure will showcase another watershed development.
