NYCN vice chair north, lauds Fintiri for including CSOs in palliative c’ttee
The vice chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), northern zone, Comrade Shehu Kambile Yohanna has lauded governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for including NYCN and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) into the palliative distribution committee.

He noted that the move will bolster probity, equity and inclusion of the most vulnerable group in the society during the distribution exercise.

Yohanna noted that the NYCN has over 300 various registered groups across the 21 local governments of the state adding that they will use that strategic leverage to reach out to the most vulnerable group of people across the state.

“I must thank governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his wisdom in creating an all inclusive palliative committee in which every segment of the society is represented.
“This will go a long way at ensuring probity and accountability in line with the governor’s open governance policy which improved the transparency rating of the state nationally and internationally.
“It will also reduce tension within the populace as the governor constituted a committee that consists of people of proven integrity. It is my hope that the most vulnerable group of people in the state will be carried along,” he said.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has set up a 20-man committee to ensure smooth distribution of palliatives across the 21 local governments committee early this week.
