Mamza told them that their ordination does not require them to do extraordinary things rather will it confer on them worldly and ephemeral niceties above other beings urging them to remain focus and not to allow vain distractions to make them fall by the way side.

He noted that their ordination is a free gift from God and not a reward adding that they should develop sturdy resilience as the tortous journey has not even begun.

In his goodwill message on behalf of the newly ordained priests, Ordinant Japeth Omokafe George while thanking God for his mercies reiterated the commitment of the newly ordained priests to rededicate their lives to the God and to remain faithful and obedient to the church.

He noted that if not because of God’s faith, the journey would have terminated a long time ago adding that the challenges are daunting but with God’s mercies, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

“The journey has not being easy. There are times when I feel like giving up and there are times I feel as if the journey is far away from me. But despite the challenges God has been faithful,” he said.
