Binos Yaroe foundation empowers 50 youths with sustainable skills in solar energy
In his resolve to equip youths in Adamawa south senatorial zone with sustainable skills incomes and livelihood, the senator representing Adamawa South senatorial zone, through Sen. Binos Yaroe foundation has commenced training for 50 youth on solar energy technologies.
The five day intensive training which commenced on the 13th Nov. 2023, will equip the youths with the rudiments and nuances of solar energy technologies with all its attendant benefits.

Ibrahim Bayo, a renewable energy expert drawn from Nigeria Energy Commission while giving an overview of the training thanked Sen. Binos for his vision in organizing such an important training for the youths of Adamawa South.
He expressed optimism that a number of Adamawa southern senatorial youths will acquire life skills in solar and renewable energy adding that apart from equipping the youths with skills, the gesture will also curb insecurity and youth restiveness in the area.
Bayo said some of the top notch skills that will be derived from the training include, SPV technology and its management, measurement and instrumentation of solar and other renewable energy, renewable energy financing and other vital skills in relation to solar energy.
He noted that at the end of the training, participants should be able to design simple solar grids, install, maintain and repair SPV technologies and other renewable technologies and be able trouble shoot and repair solar street lights amongst many other skills that will be acquired.
Bayo urged the senator to maintain the tempo of the empowerment by giving the beneficiaries the chance to further their skills by conducting higher phases of the training.
He urged the youth to pay attention to details noting that they should count themselves lucky for being part of the training that will change their life for the best.
Also speaking, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe who was represented by his Director General campaign organization, Mr. Boniface Katawan said the purpose of the training is out of the desire to provide life skills for the teeming youth and curb insecurity and youth restiveness.
He noted that Sen. Yaroe believed in the empowerment of the human person as such all his interventions in the areas of providing medical outreaches, water projects and empowering farmers with inputs are deliberately aimed at impacting the live of the common man directly.
He urged the youth to be patient and remain focused during the training as it is a life changing endeavor for them.
Also speaking, various stakeholders and chieftains of the PDP including the representative of the chairman of Numan local government, representative of Hamma Bachama all heap praises on the senator for the gesture adding that it will go a long way in helping the people and the economy of the area.
