IBDFM: Adamawa Deputy Gov to receive icon award, 1st lady, others to be inducted as fellows
The 59th Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) Programme of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM) featuring Investiture of Fellowship and Induction of New Members into the Institute is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 18th November, 2023, at Lamido Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa Hall, College and Midwifery, Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria.
Accreditation will start at exactly 9: 00 am while the programme proper will commence at exactly 10: 00am.

The MCPD component of the event with the theme: “Small and Medium Scale Enterprises: Financing Challenges and Prospects” has a respected FELLOW of the Institute, Bashir Ahmad Daneji, Ph.D, an Associate Professor with the Department of Banking and Finance, doubling as Acting Dean, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Modibbo Adama University, MAUTH Yola, as the Keynote Speaker.
A top-notch FELLOW of the Institute and Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Her Excellency, Professor Kaletapwa G. Farauta will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, she will also be conferred with the prestigious ICON Award of the Institute.
The First Lady of Adamawa state, Her Excellency, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will be among the Distinguished Personalities to be conferred with the Prestigious Fellowship of the Institute.
A Pioneer FELLOW and Governing Council Member of the Institute, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo is the Chairman, Local Organising Committee and will be supported by another Pioneer FELLOW and Governing Council Member of the Institute, Amb. Suleiman Babale Jibril the Talban Shall and other respected FELLOWS of the Institute, namely Ibrahim Abubakar (Registrar, College of Nursing and Midwifery, Yola), Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, Dr. Rufai Abubakar holding the traditional title of Ma’ajin Adamawa, Dr. Mrs. Hauwa Modu Kumshe, Dr. Mrs. Rukayya Isa Yahaya, Dr. Faiza B. Baba euro, Hajiya Faiza A. Ahmed, Hon Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji, Musa Mijinyawa Bala, Esq, Ibrahim Labaran, Mohammed Gidado Mohammed holding the traditional title of Sarkin Dawakin Jimeta, Abbas Abubakar, Safiyanu Abdulsalam, Alhaji Adamu Ayuba, Kawu Tukur Usman, Mohammed Ismail, and Mahmud Abubakar Esq and Murtala Muhammad Zubairu among others.
Meanwhile the remaining MCPD Programmes (featuring Investiture of Fellowship and Induction Ceremony) of the Institute for the year 2023 will hold on Saturday, 25th November, at the Federal Cooperative College, Eleyele, Ibadan, Oyo State; Saturday, 2nd December, at Muhammadu Indimi International Conference Center, University of Maiduguri, and on 9th December, at Green Minds Hotel, Utako, Abuja.
