The eight (8) local government Chairmen of Labour Party in the Kaduna South Senatorial district, have described the appointment of Senator Esther Nenadi Usman as the chairman of the Labour Party National Caretaker Committee as a well-deserved one.

Comrade Jonathan Hosea (Pepe), Chairman, Forum of the Eight Labour Party Local Government Chairmen in Kaduna South Senatorial District, in a statement on Wednesday, stated that her appointment followed the expiration of the tenure of Barr. Julius Abure led National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

He observed, “Sen. Nenadi Usman, who was elected as a senator and represented our senatorial district meritoriously is a distinguished leader from our Senatorial district and has played a pivotal role in the growth and progress of our party, not only in our senatorial district but also in Kaduna State and the nation as a whole, especially during the 2023 general elections.”

He added, “With a proven track record of hard work, dedication, integrity, and vast political experience, we are confident that Sen. Nenadi Usman will utilize her skills and expertise to revitalize the Labour Party.”

The chairmen said that they anticipated an all-inclusive and expansive congresses at all levels, from the ward, local government, state, to the national convention under her leadership.

They pledged their unwavering support for her appointment, their steadfast loyalty to the Labour Party, and their full commitment to serving and advancing the party’s interests in the Kaduna South Senatorial district.

They also expressed their gratitude and congratulations to the out gone Chairman and the previous national and state executives for their leadership during the 2023 elections and their tenure.

They further thanked Dr. Alex Otti, the executive governor of Abia State, their esteemed party leader, Mr. Peter Obi, and all party leaders and stakeholders who united in Umuahia to rescued the party from crisis by appointing competent and capable hands, led by Sen. Nenadi Usman, to steer the party towards a brighter future.

They, therefore, called on all party members and leaders to rally behind the national caretaker committee under the able leadership of Sen. Nenadi Usman as they embark on the crucial task ahead and as well reposition the party to the future elections in the country.
