Adamawa police neutralize kidnapper, dislodge camp, recover assault rifle
The Adamawa State Police Command, in collaboration with its critical Stakeholders and local security outfits, has reactivated its internal control mechanism to prevent Kidnapping activities and promote decency in the State.
The Command took the bold step by coordinating a raid on one of the kidnappers hideouts identified along Ngurore, Yola South local government area.

The Criminals who were armed with offensive weapons, upon sighting our gallant men attempted to resist arrest thereby opened fire to scare our men but when the fire shots were returned one of them was down while others escaped.
Investigation conducted so far led to the recovery of one AK-47 rifle with five rounds of live ammunition.
The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+), commended the bold step taken by the officers and men of the command and their Stakeholders. Urge for more collaboration in order to chase out the criminals from the state and bring to book the fleeing suspects.
