Mega party tsunami: Impending doom awaits PDP, APC in 2027 – Calculate
•Says Nigerians are fed up with culture of entreched lies, divide and rule
In this interview with select journalists, a renowned Adamawa politician, Umar Bello Jada also known as Calculate has posited that the mega party being mid-wifed by former vice president, Atiku Abubakar will sweep APC and PDP away as their major policy thrust is rooted in divide and rule.
The politician noted that while the government at the center is achieving its devious objective through religious manipulation, the ruling party in Adamawa State is using all sorts of tactics including the invidious creation of chiefdoms and emirates to balkanize the people.

But he noted that based on the feedback they are getting from Nigerians sequel to the parley and engagement of former vice president Atiku Abubakar with stakeholders from every nook and cranny of Nigeria, the death of the two dominant parties is imminent as Nigerians say they cannot forever remain insulated from the negative portents of bad governance.

Recently, the former vice president Atiku Abubakar has been meeting with a cross section of politicians both at Adamawa State and national levels can you give us insights into the renewed strategy?
The reasons for the new move is not far fetched, it stems from the clarion call on Nigerians to pull their strengths and resources together to defeat the monster called APC which has been ruling through deceit, lies and divide and rule.
From the campaign to the formative days of the current government led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC has entrenched lies, religious division and outright deceit as a state policy to rule the people at all cost. But based on the feedback Atiku has been getting, Nigerians are simply fed up with these crude shenanigans. They have expressed anger, displeasure and discontentment over that fraudulent attitude which is fraught with imminent danger. They have therefore, resolved to overwhelmingly exterminate APC come 2027.
Atiku’s meeting with politicians from Adamawa and other parts of Nigeria has proven to be the only potent tool to rescue Nigeria from the current bad leadership at national and state levels as both the PDP and the APC have become siamese twins in maladministration have failed the major leadership test of promoting good governce which has been in very short supply across Nigeria. That is why Nigerians are becoming increasingly overzealous to have a new mega platform to actualize their desires of sending APC and PDP into political oblivion come 2027.
But contrary to your postulation, both the APC led federal government and the PDP government led by governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Adamawa State are claiming to be championing people oriented policies not divide and rule as you have claimed. Are you not trying to overhype the scenario for the sake of politics?
Let me say with all sense of responsibility that the major role of leadership either at the national or subnational level is to provide security and welfare to the people. These governments over the years have failed to deliver this very important function to the people. Over the years, they have allowed all sorts of criminals to hold the country by the jugular. The menace of insecurity has in turn led to hunger, destitution, poverty and economic dislocation as farmers can no more access their farms. As if this is not enough tragedy, these governments decided to up the ante of misgovernance by promoting lies, divisions and subterfuge as state policies as a result of which the plight of the people kept worsening by the day. But despite these gaps and setbacks, the governments have become more reticent in their failures to rise up to the occasion is this not a huge indictment?
Instead of addressing the real concerns of the people, the federal government felt that the only way to keep the populace in perpetual disarray is to weaponize religion. They have recently created artificial fissures in Izala, Tijjaniya and Kadirriya sects along two fronts; one supporting the federal government and the other supporting the masses. In fact, no Islamic sect was spared from this onslaught, perhaps the only one which has relative independence is the Shia sect which is apparently insulated from the government onslaught.
In Adamawa State, divisions were created along religious and ethnic, divides as a result of the creation of emirates and chiefdoms. But one folly is that they thought their divide and rule will make them to succeed which is a huge illusion. But based on the feedback from the populace I assure you if election will take place tomorrow, we will clear Adamawa State.
Let me tell you, the proposed Mega party is a reality and it will be achieved with or without support of PDP. Most Nigerians believed in the new mega been nurtured by the former vice president because of the extent of disenchantment with both the PDP and APC. But Atiku is patiently waiting for the PDP to put its acts together so as to be part of the bandwagon otherwise, the mega arrangement will be consummated without it and that will be its greatest undoing.
Coming to Adamawa State do you think a new party in the state could have the muscle to defeat either APC or PDP?
Let me tell you in unambiguous language, both APC and PDP are mere shadows. They have been killed by internal strife, undemocratic tendencies and haughty leadership. I want to state here that if PDP and APC will join forces, our mega party will crush them without qualms.
Apart from the governor himself, no individual in PDP can produce 10,000 votes for the party, so also applies to APC. In fact, form top to bottom of all APC stakeholders no single individual has the political goodwill to generate 5,000 votes from his/her constituency. We are ready to walk our talk; we are ready to crush the two political parties with a single blow.
In sharp contrast, our party will be populated by very popular politicians in the mould Atiku, Nyako, Binani, Sen Abbo, Boni Haruna, Bindow, Sen. Abdullaziz, Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, Baba 10, Abdu Dollars and many others. They are the politicians with massive followership any day any time and they are with us. So we are going into the contest with no opposition.
