Emmanuel Musa reaffirms commitment to philanthropy, empowerment at birthday
The President and Founder of Emnamu Global Foundation, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, has reaffirmed his unflinching commitment to improve lives and promote social stability through sustained employment creation and empowerment initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and youth restiveness across communities.
Dr. Musa made this known during activities marking his birthday celebration and the child dedication of his newborn, held in Kala’a Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The event, described by attendees as both symbolic and impactful, served as a moment of gratitude, reflection and renewed commitment to humanitarian service.
The colourful birthday celebration and banquet of thanksgiving took place at the Kala’a Primary School football field in Hong, where friends, relatives, business associates and members of Emnamu Global Foundation gathered to celebrate what many described as the life and legacy of an uncommon philanthropist.
The gathering drew participants from within and outside the community, reflecting Dr. Musa’s far-reaching influence and humanitarian footprint beyond Kala’a and Adamawa State.
This year’s birthday celebration was particularly significant, as Dr. Emmanuel Musa recently facilitated the release of 100 inmates from 10 correctional centres across the state. Beyond securing their freedom, he extended post-release support by enrolling beneficiaries in skills acquisition programmes and providing business start-up kits for those interested in entrepreneurship.
Scholarships were also offered to inmates willing to return to school, a move aimed at ensuring sustainable reintegration and reducing recidivism.
In further demonstration of his compassion, Dr. Musa also visited patients at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Mubi, where he donated cash and offset some medical bills to ease the burden on indigent patients and their families.
Earlier in his remarks, the National Coordinator of Emnamu Global Foundation, Comrade Kukuya Godwin Kala’a, described Dr. Emmanuel Musa as a beacon of hope to the distressed and a source of relief to the less privileged.
He said the founder’s name has become synonymous with compassion, opportunity and restoration, particularly for youths striving to realize their potentials.
Comrade Kala’a commended volunteers of the foundation for their dedication and sacrifices, urging them to remain steadfast.
According to him, service to humanity remains service to God, and the foundation’s mission must continue to be driven by peace, love and selflessness.
Also speaking at the event, a former member representing Hong at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Hassan Mamman Barguma, described Dr. Musa as a household name not only in Huba land but across the nation, owing to his consistent commitment to building a better society. He called on well-meaning individuals to emulate his philanthropic gestures and appealed to elders in Hong to give Dr. Musa greater support and room for reconciliation in the interest of unity and development.
In his appreciation speech, Dr. Emmanuel Musa thanked guests for their support, prayers and guidance during both the good and challenging moments of his life. He assured that his foundation would intensify its interventions in key sectors, including health, education, empowerment, climate action, women’s support and the total eradication of gender-based violence.
Addressing volunteers of Emnamu Global Foundation, the philanthropist acknowledged the challenges they face but urged them to always choose the path of peace. He called on them to remain peace ambassadors, noting that the foundation is known for unity and constructive engagement, not destruction.
The birthday celebration also coincided with the naming ceremony of Dr. Musa’s newborn baby, who was named Emnamu Emmanuel Nachamada Musa, adding a personal and emotional dimension to the event.
The occasion was attended by friends and political associates, including APC governorship aspirants Dr. Salihu Bakari Girei and Mohammed Haske.
Guests were entertained with vibrant traditional dances and music performances by renowned Hausa entertainment stars such as Adam Zango, Fati Niger and Ado Daukaka, among others, making the event both memorable and culturally rich.
