‎Hon. Zachary Madayi was recently appointed as the Renewed Hope Ambassador for Adamawa State, while Chief Mrs. Bema Olvadi Madayi was appointed as a Federal Commissioner with the Federal Character Commission.

‎Speaking on behalf of the NSA, Mahmud Ribadu said the couple embody the enduring values of resilience, valour, candour and loyalty for which the Numan Federation has long been known.

‎He recalled that the Madayis have stood firmly with his father through challenging times, noting that their courage, steadfastness and stout support have earned them his father’s lasting gratitude.

‎He added that the honours being celebrated were only the beginning, expressing confidence that the couple’s sterling qualities would attract even greater opportunities and blessings in the future.

‎In his remarks, elder statesman and chairman of the occasion, Chief Joel Madaki, expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leader of the APC in Adamawa State, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for facilitating the appointments.

‎Madaki observed that the growing number of federal appointments to the area reflects the APC-led government’s determination to be inclusive, contrasting it with what he described as years of neglect during the PDP’s 16-year rule.

‎He said the people of the federation owe the APC deep goodwill and would reciprocate the gesture.

‎He also commended the celebrants for bringing pride to the area through hard work, honesty, loyalty, patriotism and exemplary leadership, urging them to sustain the standards that earned them such recognition.

‎Also speaking, Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, congratulated the duo, describing their appointments as notable dividends of democracy for the people of Numan Federation.

‎Represented by his deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, the governor said he was pleased that Adamawa citizens were being considered for federal appointments, regardless of party differences.

‎In separate remarks, Hon. Zachary Madayi and Chief Mrs. Bema Olvadi Madayi thanked President Tinubu and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for the confidence reposed in them. They pledged to justify the trust by serving diligently and acting as worthy ambassadors of the APC-led government.

‎The celebrants also reaffirmed their commitment to mobilize support for the APC in Adamawa State ahead of the 2027 general elections, vowing to work towards comprehensive victories for the party at all levels.
