Hon Vrati Nzonzo declares interest for house of reps come 2027

Hon. Vrati Nzonzo has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Demsa, Numan and Lamurde Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Vrati made the declaration on Monday while addressing party faithful, community leaders, and youth groups at a well-attended event in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital.

He said his decision followed wide consultations and persistent calls from constituents who want stronger representation and accelerated development in the area.
Nzonzo disclosed that the people of Demsa, Numan and Lamurde deserve a louder voice in Abuja, he told the gathering that if elected, his priorities will be security, youth employment, agricultural support, and improved education and healthcare for the communities. According to him, he is not coming to make promises; he is coming to build on what they have started together with the people at the grassroots
The aspirant, who until now served as the Executive Director Planning and Design, Chad Basin Development Authority , Maiduguri, highlighted his track record in so many aspects and support for women and youth cooperatives.
Party stakeholders at the event, including APC North East Youth Leader, Youth Leaders and women leaders, welcomed the declaration and pledged to mobilize support ahead of party primaries.
Vrati called for peaceful and issue-based politics, urging other aspirants to focus on ideas that will move the constituency forward.
He added that his campaign would kick off with a ward-to-ward tour in the coming weeks to engage voters directly and document community needs.
