Accolades as Adamawa renowned activist, Raji bags NBA merit award
Spontaneous accolades and congratulatory messages have trailed the investiture of merit award on a foremost lawyer and human rights activist in Adamawa, Barr. Fatima Bello Raji by the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Yola branch.
NBA has during its dinner in its ongoing law week on Friday awarded Raji with the award for her starling contributions to the growth of the association vis a vis her excellent and meritorious service to humanity especially the downtrodden.

Her remarkable feats were amplified via her citation which read in parts, “Fatima Bello Raji popularly called (Head Girl of Ministry Of Justice), the face of FIDA Adamawa, State Lead, Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum, is a creative and result oriented person.
“She is a legislative draftsperson and Humanitarian Practitioner with sixteen (16) years post-call to Bar experience both in Private and Public Prosecution/Defense.
“Fatima has worked locally and internationally contributing to passage of laws on Gender Based Violence, and supporting access to justice to IDPs. She is active in sensitization and awareness raising on existing laws and policies on GBV, contributes to policy development, review and implementation in Adamawa State.”
