He urged Nigerians to continue to support the administration of the president noting that the hardships being experienced will fade away when the policies are fully rooted.

Idris who contested the senatorial seat of Adamawa Northern zone reitrated that one-year is not enough to measure the success of a four-year administration adding that president Tinubu is on track to reposition the country against all odds.

He extolled the president’s valiant strides to rejuvenate the economy adding that some of these strides have already started yielding fruits citing example with how the president rescued the naira from an all time free fall.

“The president has done very well in taming the free fall of the naira against the dollar which at that time was galloping towards N2,000. He succeeded in reining on the dollar and normalized the naira. I’m optimistic the president will restore the value of the naira to the time he assumed office and even improve on it.

“The president is also carrying out some audacious projects in the country including the construction of the Lagos – Calabar coastal expressway. This and many other projects will very soon put Nigeria on the path of rejuvenation,” he said.

He also commended the valiant effort of the president in reversing the social insecurity bedeviling the land urging Nigerians to also exercise patient with the administration as it is doing its best to address the scourge.
