Security: Fintiri’s SSA, Lawal parleys Adamawa CP, assures govt supportl
Adamawa State government has reiterated its determination to ensure water tight security, peace and harmony for the rapid socio-economic development of the state and its citizenry.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after he paid a working visit to the state commissioner of police, Morris Dankwambo, Senior Special Assistant to governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on peace and security, Mr. Ahmed Lawal said the purpose of the visit is to enhance synergy and cooperation with the security outfit so as to consolidate the governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s led government’s drive towards an egalitarian society.

The SSA thanked the police commissioner as well as men and officers of the force for their untiring efforts to ensure waterproof security across all the length and breath of the state.
Lawal specifically extolled the force for the gallant role it played at ensuring a hitch free local government election adding that the feat is highly acknowledged by the state government urging it to maintain the tempo.
“It is pertinent for me to parley the police because of the critical role it’s is playing at ensuring peace, security and harmony in the state. Such feat is responsible for the lasting peace in the state which has become a paragon of harmony in Nigeria.
“I must specifically acknowledge and thank the commissioner of police and officers and men of the force for the gallant role they played in the success of the just concluded local government election in the state.
“Adamawa State government will continue to accord support to the police to ensure lasting peace, security and harmony,” he said.
