Limawa APC stakeholders reward 12 mobilizers over successful e-registration
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Limawa Ward, Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State, have rewarded and publicly commended twelve dedicated party members and mobilizers whose efforts led the ward to emerge as the highest in membership registration during the just concluded electronic registration exercise.
The recognition ceremony took place during a ward party caucus meeting convened to celebrate the historic milestone for Limawa Ward.

Findings indicated that the ward recorded the highest number of newly registered APC members in the entire state.
Delivering his address, Aliyu Abbati Abdulhameed, mni, Patron-Member of the APC in Limawa Ward, described the achievement as proof of the ward’s unity, strength and unwavering loyalty to the party.
He said the event was not just a celebration of numbers but a reward for commitment, sacrifice and grassroots mobilization.
According to him, when the APC opened its e-registration portal nationwide in February 2026, Adamawa State recorded a total of 450,000 new members. Out of that figure, Yola North LGA alone accounted for 137,091 registrations, representing 30.7 percent of the state’s total.
According to him, Limawa Ward distinguished itself by registering 20,880 new members, which amounted to 15.2 percent of all registrations within Yola North adding that among the 226 wards in Adamawa State, Limawa emerged as number one.
“These numbers are not ordinary. They are the result of hard work, dedication and sacrifice,” Abdulhameed declared.
He specifically honored 12 exceptional young party members who spearheaded the mobilization drive, describing them as the “foot soldiers” of the party who carried the torch of expansion across the ward.
The stakeholders presented them as deserving ambassadors whose loyalty and performance have positioned them for greater responsibilities in the future.
“The APC does not forget those who serve with distinction. Your loyalty today is the foundation of your leadership tomorrow,” he said, assuring them that their efforts have been noticed at the local, state and national levels.
Abdulhameed stressed that the ward was not asking for charity but for recognition and support that matches its proven capacity. He called on party leadership to reward loyalty and performance, noting that Limawa has demonstrated that it can deliver results during elections.
He further urged members to maintain the momentum by coming out en masse on Election Day to vote for APC candidates, emphasizing that Limawa Ward has shown it is dependable and battle-ready whenever the party calls.
In his remarks, Yusuf Danumma, a respected community leader and APC chieftain in Adamawa State, commended the ward stakeholders for organizing the recognition and rewarding deserving mobilizers. He described the gesture as timely and necessary to encourage grassroots participation.
Danumma noted that Limawa Ward has historically played a significant role in the emergence of governors and presidents in Adamawa State through massive voter turnout and strategic use of its numerical strength. According to him, the ward’s performance in the e-registration exercise further reinforces its political relevance.
He argued that, given its loyalty and contributions, the ward deserves compensation and stronger support from across the state, especially in backing its preferred governorship aspirant, Comrade Mustapha Salihu.
Danumma added that Limawa Ward possesses capable human capital that can effectively serve in government positions from the state level to the federal level. He expressed optimism that the APC would reward the ward appropriately for its steadfast support and performance.
