The Chairman of the Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has directed all newly inaugurated committees of the council to submit their detailed work plans by November 6, 2026, as the party moves to accelerate preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The directive, issued on Thursday, October 29, shortly after the inauguration of the committees, is aimed at ensuring the early commencement of campaign activities and establishing a coordinated operational framework for the party’s electioneering efforts.

The Secretary of the Campaign Council and Secretary to the State Government, Awwal Tukur, announced the directive, instructing all committees to forward their submissions to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government on or before Friday, November 6.
Tukur said the deadline was intended to give the council sufficient time to review, harmonise and approve the various proposals for immediate implementation.
He said Fintiri has emphasised the need for all committees to adopt proactive, strategic and result-oriented approaches to their assignments to ensure that the campaign machinery became operational without unnecessary delays.
According to him, the work plans must contain clear timelines, budget estimates and implementation strategies, with particular attention to grassroots mobilisation, media engagement and stakeholder inclusion.
Tukur urged committee chairmen and secretaries to treat the directive with utmost seriousness, stressing the importance of meeting the deadline to facilitate effective coordination and timely execution of campaign programmes.
