Provost FCE Yola felicitates with Muslims @ Eid-el-Kabir

The Acting Provost, Federal College of Education, (FCE) Yola, Dr. Johnson Malgwa has admonished students of tertiary institutions against being used for political thuggery or engaging in drug abuse and other forms of criminality as they await the outcome of negotiations between the Federal government and the striking lecturers to return to classrooms.

The Acting Provost gave the advice Saturday, in a statement signed by the College Principal Public Relations Officer, Mr Bashiru Abdullahi, where he felicitated with Muslims and other Nigerians on this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

Malgwa has called on Nigerians to use the festive period to pray for the country to overcome its daunting Security Challenges.

“As we make sacrifices, we should also pray for the nation to overcome the current daunting security challenges and issues bordering on unity and tolerance, which are quintessential in sustaining the glory of our country, he said.”

The Acting Provost reiterated the commitment of the College to improving its infrastructure and manpower toward meeting its expanding status and producing professional teachers for the nation.

The Acting Provost, who is also the Tafidan Madagali, felicitated with President Muhammed Buhari, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the State Assembly, Lamido Adamawa, HRH Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, the Emir of Mubi, HRH Alhaji Abubakar Ahmadu and the entire Adamawa traditional Council, wishing all a memorable Sallah Celebration.
