Sen. Abbo, married woman trade tackles over trending X-rated video clips

The immediate past senator representing Adamawa North senatorial zone, Sen. Ishaku Elisha Abbo and a married woman Hon Wange Kwagga Minso are currently trading heated exchanges and vitriolic attacks over trending X-rated video clips.
Abbo who is not new to controversies is trying willy nilly to exculpate himself from the video while the woman insisted that the two actors who featured in the first video are Sen Abbo and herself.

Minso also disclosed that apart from taking sexual advantage of her, Abbo has also blackmailed her into having sex with multiple partners in order to keep the sex video between him and her a secret.
The incursion of the video clips to the Internet and the social media space, has generated aversion, and condemnation by a wide spectrum of the society who view the action of the duo as the abyss of moral depravity.
When the first video made its debut on the Internet, some political opponents of the former senator started pointing accusing fingers at him as the likely male culprit, but Abbo swiftly repudiated the claim as the handwork of mischief makers.
That action only fetched the former senator a temporary reprieve as the woman at the center of the sex scandal openly called out Abbo’s name as her partner in crime in the first X-rated clip in which the face of the male partner was hidden.
Abbo is the hidden face in the first video – Minso
During an interview with @Arewa_newz and a statement she posted on her Facebook page, Minso insisted that the hidden face in the first video was that of the former senator whom she believed leaked the video in order to embarrass her since his identity was hidden.
She noted that in the course of their immoral relationship, the senator has given her money running into several millions of naira in order to get accommodation when she had some marital hiccups with her husband but she refused to use the money for the
purpose which angered Abbo into releasing her sex video for her effrontery to frontally shortchange him of his hard earned money.
Minso noted that as a blackmail tool, the X-rated video was sent to her husband and very close relatives which subjected her to mental and psychological torture and also exposed her marriage to the brink of collapse.
She noted that in order to stop further blackmail she confronted Abbo who is the sole proprietor of the X-rated content asking him for forgiveness over her indiscretions noting that during the meeting the former senator addressed her in pejorative language and tongue lashed her using harsh invectives for daring to shortchange him adding that if he fought very powerful enemies like the president and governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to a standstill, she is too feeble and too inconsequential before him. Therefore crushing her won’t be a hard job.
When asked whether she had reminded Abbo that he is the only person with the sole proprietorship of the content which made him the prime suspect behind its leakage, Minso said she did so but the former senator told her that at a point he took his phone for repairs implying that the phone mechanics may have been behind the leaked video.
Expression of penitence and regrets
While expressing suitable penitence for her untoward action which subjected her, family and community to ridicule and shame, Minso vowed to be a changed person.
In a sober message she posted on her Facebook page the woman alleged that her life and that of her husband are under serious threat by the senator.
In the poignant and sombre address Minso sought for forgiveness from her immediate family, community and the country for her odious action.
“With all sense of humility and remorse, I want to publicly acknowledge and apologize for my recent shameful act that has been in circulation on various social media platforms. I address you today with a heavy heart, full with the awareness of the pain I have caused, and a sincere intention to make amends for my actions.
“First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest apologies to all those who have been directly, or indirectly affected by my behaviour. Especially the Kamue and Margi Communities, the Michika Community and Nigeria at large. I recognize that my actions have not only violated the trust and respect placed on me, but have also brought shame and disappointment upon myself.
“I fully understand the gravity of my actions and the negative impact on the community. It is in this understanding that I am committed to acknowledging the harm I have caused and taking full responsibility for my conduct.
“I am deeply ashamed of my behaviour, and I recognize that an apology alone is not enough to make up for the pain and disappointment I have caused. It is now my utmost responsibility to actively work towards rectifying the situation and rebuilding the trust that has been shattered.
“I acknowledged that rebuilding trust is a long-term endeavour that requires consistent actions and impeccable character. I assure you that I am committed to this journey of personal growth, and I will do everything, positive, in my power to regain your trust and confidence.
“More so, I want to use this opportunity to call on all relatives, friends and well wishers to stand by us as our lives are under threat we need your support to bring those behind this evil act to book, this because the man leading this evil act, is Former Senator Ishaku Abbo Elisha we have other married women in similar circumstance. Those women and young ladies are constantly under threat by him. I encourage them to come out and speak.
“Senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo took advantage of my vulnerability and lured me into committing sexual act with him and recorded the act with the sole aim of blackmailing me. The video he recorded and the one he forced me to record are all released not with my consent. When we initiate the legal process, we will make available some strong evidence against him. We all must stop this monster is other to save our young girls and married women.
“Please, know that I am sincerely sorry for my shameful act and I humbly ask for your forgiveness. I understand that forgiveness is a choice and not an entitlement, and I accept that some may find it challenging to offer it. Nevertheless, I hope that my genuine remorse and commitment to personal change will pave the way for reconciliation and healing. “TO ERR IS HUMAN, TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE”.

Sen. Abbo’s riposte
In a swift riposte, Sen. Abbo who vehemently denied the accusations heaped on him by Minso said he is always a victim of his goodwill and benevolence.
In a lengthy prose, which he posted on his Facebook page, Abbo acknowledged knowing the woman and dishing out millions of naira to the her out of pity and benevolence but she has deemed it fit to repay his kindness with blackmail.
In the riposte entitled “Everything about SIA trends,” Abbo said that was the burden of grace he embodies.
“While I’m not new to controversies, I’m not Donald Trump and will definitely never be one.
“Three days ago, I cleared the air regarding viral videos mostly on whatsapp groups which was associated to me. I did that believing that the woman in the videos was not the one dropping my name, hence I extended my support to her and refrained from mentioning her name in my chat.
“I knew any response from me will get a reaction. I pushed for the reaction and I am glad I got it.
“Yesterday same woman enjoying herself in the videos came out to say that it was me and her in the video and that I blackmailed her into having sex with her friend’s husband as we saw him licking her in the video while she moan and pressing his head more on her. I had to go through the pains of watching the videos today for the first time.
“Again in politics, silence is never an option no matter how low the messenger is and how mundane the matter.
“I will state few things here just to help my supporters and to give more trending stories to those that love trends and want to grow online followers with my name.
“Kindly read the following facts.
“Before 2023 elections, I decided to sponsor some of my young supporters to run for offices as part of my political mentorship program. I sponsored or supported youths in Densa, Numan, Lamurde, Guyuk, Mayo Belwa, Ganye, Yola North, Fofure, Song, Hong, Uba/Gaya, Mubi North, Mubi South, Michika, Madagali etc. I did that to mentor youths to have political experience and some of them won elections in 2023. In Michika, the woman in the Video was one of those I supported paying for everything from forms to her logistics for Primary elections.
“While we were in the 2023 campaign trail, she told me that her husband threw her belongings out of the house and she needed money to send someone to pack them to her sister’s house in Abuja. Of course I send her money before scavengers steal her property.
“After elections, she met my wife Emily Ishaku Abbo and begged her to talk to me to help her rent a house in Gwarinpa, Abuja, since she’s separated from her husband and have nowhere to live. My wife intervened and I send her two Million five hundred thousand Naira (N2.5M) for her house rent. I didn’t know that it was a scam. She was in her husband’s house in Ushaffa Abuja.
Again she came back to my wife and said she’s without a business and needed to start a restaurant business. Again with Pressure from my wife I gave her One Million Five Hundred thousand Naira (N1.5m) for shop rent and Five Hundred thousand Naira for start up pack.
“Few months later, she said she reconciled with her husband and he had moved into her house in Gwarinpa. Again it was a lie as there was no house in Gwarinpa. She uploaded a whatsapp story of her and husband and knew that my wife will see it. We celebrated the reconciliation.
“Few weeks later she asked us to help her with money to do IVF and have a child since normal conception failed, I gladly gave her over 1 million naira to start the IVF treatment for her and her husband.
“One day she sent me whatsapp messages that she reported one #Blessing #Zachary to the police for blackmailing her with a sex video of her and her husband’s friend. She told me that a senior police officer from Michika an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) was handling the case. Later she said the matter was settled amicably by the Police officer. I was happy the Videos were not shared online and appreciated the officer.
“Three months ago, she came to me again with her friend Rejoice Ishaku that her house rent in Gwarinpa is expired and needed help to renew the rent. Again the Pressure was much as she said the Landlord will throw her things out and disgrace her. I asked her to send me the Landlord phone number so I can talk to him to give her few weeks. A phone number was sent to me which later I discovered was not the Landlord I was talking to.
“Again, I paid for the non existing house rent renewal because I cannot see a human being more so a family from Michika being homeless in Abuja.
“One day, I got a message from her phone number which read” Sir, please I am sorry for being part of the plan to fraud you, Hon Wange Kwagga Minso is not living in Gwarinpa she is still in Ushaffa, she scammed you twice to pay for a non existing house rent. I am sorry, the number sent to you was that of Abdul her boyfriend from Kebbi and not her landlord.
“It is on this fraud that I called her and her friend to come see me that day UNFAILINGLY. She came weeks later with her friend and apologized.
“After a shallow Investigation, we discovered that I paid for a non existing house rent for two years.
“Having defrauded me for years and extracted more than Ten million naira from me under different guise in LESS THEN ONE YEAR, I decided to freeze the fraudster out of the CIRCLE.
I was her ATM and her POS.
“I’m a Victim of my good heart.
“If she claim it’s me in her videos and she have a proof of me blackmailing her to sleep with men including her husbands friends and blackmailed her into receiving head while moaning, such evidences will be demanded in the court of law. This is for sure.
“I believe strongly that I am the one being blackmailed because I remain both a political threat and a source of income for others.
“The meeting she had in a hotel in Karewa with a representative of a politician was reported to me. The line and course of action on how to smear my name was also reported to me.
“While I have authorized my team to look into the matter and come up with an action plan, I remained committed to serving humanity no matter how many scammers and fraudsters I meet on my way.
“For the politician who want to be Senator in Northern Zone and is part funding this smear campaign, stop wasting your time. As Long as I Live, any candidate I support for Senator Northern Zone in 2027 will win. Anyone I raise his hands will win. That is a fact.
“For the one running for Governor and arranged the Abuja charade called live video where words were put into the mouth of the fraudster, I advise you to concentrate on getting PDP ticket first than wasting your energy on me. If by chance you get the ticket, face me in the field and you will get your political lessons from me.
“Dear youths, it is not everything trending that becomes your business. Some of it will hunt you beyond the trends.
“I know more of these will come. But This particular one will be followed up untill my name is cleared and evil doers punished.”
Anti-Climax
In what appears like an Anti-Climax after his exhaustive defence another video in which Sen Abbo acknowledged that one can win election even while carrying the baggage of featuring in X-rated videos surfaced giving allusions to the fact that his political future is safe and secured despite his alleged involvement in the sex scandal.
He alleged that a senator was caught pants down in a hotel room with two ladies yet he and wife won their election as senator and member of reps.
Again while pushing his point further, he alleged that another nude video of a politician came to the public domain adding that the politician was known, yet he won his election convincingly.
