Welfare: FMC B-Kudu cooperative society distributes food, consumables to members
No fewer than 150 members of Federal Medical Center Birnin Kudu based Cooperative Society also known as Liberty Cooperative Society have benefitted from foodstuffs and other consumables distributed to them by the cooperative.
Malam Ja’afar Sufyan El-Ansar, the president of the cooperative made this known at the distribution point in the premises of (FMC) Birnin Kudu on Friday.

He said the items distributed included 100 bags of rice 50kg,150 cartons of Spaghetti and noodles, 50 cartons of palm oil and 10 cartons of vegetable oil.
El-Ansar said the initiative was aimed at promoting the welfare of members as well as provide relief for them due to the current harsh economic realities in the country.
Ansar, explained that the foodstuffs were distributed to contributing members of the cooperative,”saying an individual member contribution determines what he gets.
He appealed to the beneficiaries to make judicious utilization of the foodstuffs by feeding their families and avoid unnecessary diversion.
According to him, the liberty cooperative believes in transparency, accountability as well as championing the welfare of members, saying “we are among the best nationwide.”
“We do provide investment loan, cash, Ramadan gestures and procurement of housing accommodation and farmlands for interested members” he said.
