Ember months: Adamawa CP vows to ensure water tight security

Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has vowed to clampdown on the activities of hoodlums and criminals as the year inches towards its end.

A statement by the image maker of the state police command, SP Sulaiman Nguroje said, to that effect, the CP has ensured the deployment of operatives of the Command, drawn from the Special Rapid Response Team (SRRT), Crack squad, Anti Shilla and Narcotics squads to carryout a tactical and intelligence – driven 24/7 raid against all flash points.

“Those deployed to checkmate all criminal activities, as a further manifestation of the Command’s determination to providing peaceful and conducive atmosphere in the state.

“These deployments will surely assist in coordinating timely response to distress calls and to clamp down on those found committing crimes for the law to take its course.

“The CP has equally directed the Divisional police officers, Commander 14/65pmf and Area Commanders to personally lead the operations in their respective Areas of responsibility (AOR) to ensure total domination of the public space especially at nights.

“The CP while re-emphasizing the firm determination of the Command in ensuring safety of lives and property seek full cooperation from members of the public particularly those leaving outside the metro politants to report any suspicious character around their neighborhood to the police station or call on these emergency numbers,” the statement said.
